Paris Hilton is an American actress, singer, model, business woman and celebutante. Paris’s full name is Paris Whitney Hilton. Paris’s mother’s name is Kathy Hilton and her father’s name is Richard Hilton. Paris has three siblings; their names are Nicky, Barron, and Conrad. Paris is the oldest child in the family. Paris was born on February 17, 1981 in New York City, New York. Paris’s grandparents are hotel chairman Barron Hilton and his wife, Marilyn Howley. Barron Hilton’s parents were the founders of the Hilton Hotels that are located across the United States.

Paris is best known for her spot on the television show called The Simple Life. Paris has played in many television shows and movies. Some of the shows and movies she has played in are Zoolander, Wonderland, The Cat In the Hat, Raising Helen, and House of Wax.

Paris is also a recording artist. Paris has a self titled album, Paris. Paris founded Heiress Records, a sub label of Warner Bros. Although Paris’s album was a hit for about a week, the total sales for the album were considerably low.

Paris is also an author. In 2004 Paris released the book Confession of an Heiress: A Tongue in Chic Peek Behind the Pose. The book actually became a New York Times Best Seller. The Book was co-written by Merle Ginberg. Paris is currently working on a new book also.

Paris has many products and endorsements such as perfumes, hair extensions, footwear, clothing, and even a line of night clubs that are named after her. The Paris Hilton name seems to promote any product.

Paris has much media attention. Paris is noted for spending time in the “slammer” and getting in legal trouble in 2007. Paris is currently dating the guitarist of the band Good Charlotte, Benji Madden. Paris loves small dogs and is somewhat of a humanitarian. Paris is against wearing fur and is a vegetarian.
