Q. Why was my Scrib deleted?
A. The most common reason why a Scrib is deleted is because it violated our Terms of Service. The most common T.O.S. violation is the creation of a Scrib for the sole purpose of promoting a website. QuickScrib has many great uses, but promoting your website is not one of them.
Q. Can I request removal of a "Scrib" that I have created?
A. Removal of any "Scrib" is completely our decision. The reason we do not accept every scrib removal request that we receive is because we do not require submission of any form of personal identification in order to create a Scrib. Because of this there is no way for us to know who created any given scrib. However, if you contact us and provide sufficient reasoning, (what sufficient reasoning is will be determined by us) we may remove the scrib.
Q. Who will see my "Scrib?"
A. If you make your Scrib private (by selecting the "Private Scrib" box) the only people who will see your scrib are those who you share your scrib link (the link we provide to you after you create your Scrib) with. If you do not make your scrib private those same people will see it, plus anyone who visits QuickScrib.com (a link to your scrib will appear in the archives,) as well as potential search engine users and other 3rd party traffic, as your scrib will likely be indexed by search engines.
Q. Can I edit a "Scrib" after it has been published?
A. No. However, you can contact us and request an edit. Whether you edit the scrib or not is entirely our decision.
Q. I've come across a "Scrib" that I believe is being used for spam. How can I report it?
A. Go to the "Scrib" page and click the "Report Spam" link in the right sidebar. A QuickScrib.com admin will then review the scrib. If it is believed to be against our TOS by our team the scrib will be removed at that time.
Q. I've come across a "Scrib" that I believe contains illegal content (plagiarism, hate related etc.) How can I have it removed?
A. Please submit a support ticket and include the URL of the Scrib in question. Once we review your ticket we will review the Scrib and take action if we feel it violates our TOS. If it is a plagiarism issue, please include a URL to the original peice of content.
